Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is designed to offer your children a place of wonder and discovery as they learn how much God loves them. Our goal each Sunday is to create an environment that is both educational and engaging. We want to capture your child’s imagination, lead them into a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ and give them a lifelong love for God’s word.

Our Children’s Ministry seeks to bring children into age-appropriate worship where they can belong to the family of God, grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve, and then go share Christ in the world! We strive to do this through our Sunday School and Children’s Church offerings, our various activities and events, and our summer vacation Bible school.

Sunday School

(Preschool Through High School)

We offer Sunday School starting at 10am for children from 3 years to High School.  Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers.  The classes are age appropriate and include Bible Lessons, memory verses, crafts, and games.

Children’s Church

(Preschool Through 2nd Grade)

During the 11:00 worship service, children from 3 years old to 2nd grade leave the service part way through to attend Children’s Church. Children from 3rd grade up stay with their parents in the worship service. In addition, a fully staffed nursery is available at the 11:00 service for infants through toddlers. There is also a cry room located at the back of the sanctuary to provide parents a place to sit with and care for newborns and infants.

Drop Off

When you dropping of children for Sunday School or Children’s Church please go with your child to register and check them in. You are also asked to sign in and indicate where you will be on campus. This will allow us to contact you if it is necessary.

Attendance

Please consider the positive results of consistent and regular attendance as your child will benefit from getting to know the other children and the teachers. Each of the lessons compliment each other, we don’t want your child to miss any part of them. Arriving a little early will allow your child to get settled in to the class before the lesson time begins.

Snack

Children will receive a snack, which may be crackers, fruit, cheese (or other foods which relate to the day’s lesson) and juice during Children’s Church.

If your child has any food allergies, please note this on the sign-in sheet and tell one of the teachers, each time you sign your child into class.

Health & Hygiene Policy

You can help us keep these rooms and your child’s experience with us a happy and healthy one by observing the following Health Guidelines. We ask you to keep your child at home when you observe any of the following:

  • Fever/Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Discharge in or around the eyes
  • Any questionable rash
  • Green or yellow runny nose
  • Coughing
  • Communicable disease

If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified promptly. If your child is being treated with an antibiotic, he or she should have received treatment for at least 24 full hours before coming into the classroom. For your child’s protection, we ask our teachers to follow these same guidelines.

Pick Up

Please return to pick up your child promptly after the worship service has ended. You must pick up your child yourself. You must also sign out on the sheet where you signed your child into the class. For security reasons, please do not send anyone to pick-up your child who you have not designated as the pick-up person when you dropped off your child. Children will only be released to adults, not to older siblings.
